Mr. Green is a devout Jew who only eats kosher, says his prayers regularly, and strictly observes the laws and customs of his faith. He knows and cares little about the ÒmodernÓ world and with the passing of his wife has all but lost the will to live.

Ross Gardiner is a hotshot executive with American Express who wears designer suits. He knows little about his Jewish heritage and is going through his own struggles because his lifestyle goes against the traditions of his family and religion.

What happens when the hand of fate brings the two together? They learn a lot about each other and themselves.

In the simplest of terms, Visiting Mr. Green is a play about what can happen when life seems overwhelming and someone comes through the door and changes your whole perspective. Chance not choice bring together a young man and an older Jewish widower and their relationship grows reluctantly with wit, wisdom and warmth.

Jan Reardon directs the play which features Norm Filbert and Michal Simpson.
