RE: PRESS RELEASE FOR SNAP! PRODUCTIONS
The Princess and the Pee or Yolanda’s Outstanding Plan is a fable for anyone who thinks growing up is highly overrated. Who says fairy tales are just for kids? SNAP! Productions dispels that myth once and for all when they host the “World Premiere” of this high-energy romp through a very unique kingdom.
Join the brave Yolanda in the far off land of Cray-la-lo. Marvel at her tenacity as she confronts every challenge in classic hero style—the boldness of Ulysses, the pride of the Marines, the wisdom of Dr. Phil. Thrill to her adventures with a man-eating snake, a Crushing Bore, an evil witch and the most dysfunctional royal family, probably, ever. The Princess and the Pee is sure to vanquish the end-of-summer doldrums and awaken the inner child in everyone. Directed by M. Michele Phillips and written by Lily Baber Coyle, The Princess and the Pee or Yolanda’s Outstanding Plan will feature a talented troupe of actors. Andrea Brooks, Echelle Childers, Mark Cramer, Jerry Evert, Liz Heim, Jay Huse, Denny Maddux, Colleen O’Doherty, Ruth Rath, Emily Jane Thompson and Tyler Swain fill the kingdom with merriment and hijinx as they try to help or hinder Yolanda’s quest.
The Princess and the Pee or Yolanda’s Outstanding Plan will run from August 24 thru September 17, 2006 at 3225 California Street.Curtain times are 8:00 pm, Thursday, Friday and Saturday; 6:00 pm on Sundays, except September 17 which is at 2:00 pm. The theater opens a half hour before curtain time. Reservations may be made by calling 402-341-2757 or on the SNAP! website: www.snapproductions.com. Tickets are $15.00 for general admission; $12.00 for students, senior citizens, and TAG members; $5.00 for children 12 and under. The August 24th performance is a free performance benefitting the Theatre Arts Guild Scholarship program. Donations will be accepted at the door for this performance.
